Spider Mites Are Here. Are You Prepared?
You've got this far in the growing season with your crops. But spider mites are now in our area and they can be detrimental and wreak havoc on your crops. Why chance giving up NEARLY 40% OF YOUR YIELDS * (with infestations unchecked) to BUGS?
This year we are seeing spider mite pressure earlier than last year with several fields already being sprayed. Learn more about how to prevent and treat your fields for these pests and keep your yields for yourself (and not the mites).

Spider Mites Develop Rapidly
Outside borders of fields are often where spider mites appear first. Humidity, rainfall, and temperature all play a role in how rapid these pests develop in the crop. It is best to be proactive as it takes roughly seven days for a spider mite to go through a complete life cycle, when temperatures are above 90 degrees. To control spider mites, they must come into contact with a miticide. |
