Planters are about to hit the field and ensuring your fertilizer and chemical needs are met remains our top priority. With the current soil moisture levels and warmer temperatures we’ve been seeing, we anticipate weed pressure to increase more than we have seen in the last few years. It's important that you and your agronomist remain vigilant in monitoring for weed flushes. Taking proactive measures to prevent weed emergence or addressing them while they are still small can significantly reduce potential challenges.
Lets connect and discuss all your fertilizer and chemical needs today!
Exciting news for the 2024 season! GCC has entered a new (to us) market by partnering with TruTerra to explore opportunities in the carbon credit world. While we had previously been reluctant to get into this space due to concerns about payout and terms that may not have been favorable to our members, TruTerra has now made drastic changes to their program. We now feel this program is a better fit for our farmers.
Truterra, a leading agricultural sustainability business, has announced new sustainability programs for farmers to potentially enroll in for 2024. It expands eligibility of the Truterra® carbon program to include qualified long-term adopters of conservation practices who have adopted strip/no-till and/or added cover crops on fields with corn (grain), soybeans, wheat (grain), or cotton in crop year 2024 or earlier. Enrollment for this program began Dec. 1.
If you have considered exploring such opportunities, we encourage you to reach out to your dedicated salesperson for more information. They will provide guidance and assist you in the enrollment process. Alternatively, you can follow the link below to access the Enrollment Page:
